Drawing, drawn in ink with a brush on paper, pricked for use as a pinhole stencil, depicting Hanuman greeting Rama with Sita and Lakshman (an episode from the Ramayana). The divine hero Rama, armed with bow and arrow, stretches out his right arm above Hanuman, who bows to the ground. Behind Rama are his wife Sita, and his brother Lakshman; the meeting takes place in a hilly wooded landscape, with a variety of animals and birds. The paper is pounded at each end, and has been whitened.
