Poster advertising Mnemonic devised by Théatre de Complicité, Cambridge Corn Exchange, 30 June - 3 July 1999.
Complicite is one of the most innovative companies working in Britain, its stated aim being to integrate ‘text, music, image and action to create surprising, disruptive theatre’. Mnemonic explores the subject of memory through two parallel narratives: the discovery of Ozti the icemen, a 5,000 mummified corpse, and the search for a long-lost relative in modern Europe.
