Baby's rattle, of hallmarked silver with a mother of pearl teething stick. The rattle has a narrow central shaft with a whistle mounted at one end and the teething stick (which is engraved with the child's name and date of birth) at the other. Between the two is mounted a freely rotating framework of curlicues, consisting of four angled struts, each hung with a bell at the centre.
