The teak carving is in both full and low relief. At the bottom is a seated Burmese Minister of State, an ogre (bilu) and a horse. In the middle is a flying kinnara with upraised hands, who supports a large lotus-bud, on and over which are seated two Nats and four devas on open lotuses. A canopy with low relief scrollwork overshadows the lotus. Burmese, 17th century.
