First Communion Veil

First communion veil of white net, edged thoughout in box-pleated net, and falling from a round cap of self fabric. The cap is stitched in tucks across the head; it has a shaped brim of cream machine-made lace (folded back from the face and edged with box-pleated net) at the front, and ivory elastic braid at the back; the cap is trimmed at each side with a cockade of ivory satin ribbon and a small spray of artificial lily-of-the-valley.

Physical description
First communion veil of white net, edged thoughout in box-pleated net, and falling from a round cap of self fabric. The cap is stitched in tucks across the head; it has a shaped brim of cream machine-made lace (folded back from the face and edged with box-pleated net) at the front, and ivory elastic braid at the back; the cap is trimmed at each side with a cockade of ivory satin ribbon and a small spray of artificial lily-of-the-valley.
