Vertical oval pendant containing a verre églomisé painting of the Virgin Mary on a gold ground on one side. The painting on the other side is badly damaged, and the glass is missing. The painting is set in a gold frame, with an elaborate border decorated with applied wire and coloured enamels. The frame hangs by two chains of twisted wire from a suspension ring. There are three pendant pearls hanging from the lower edge of the frame.
