Physical description | Necklace of three silver chains with an elaborate gold filigree clasp. The clasp consists of a central crescent-shaped section of filigree coils and flat shapes of sheet gold. There are gold balls along the top, and three stamped gold scallop shells hanging from the lower edge between loops of gold chain. On the back of this section are two long flat hooks. These attach on each side to a smaller matching crescent-shaped plaque, with a loop at one side, to attach to the central section, and three small rings at the other. Three graduated lengths of silver figure-of-eight chain are attached to these three small rings. |
