Necklace of three rows of graduated creamy-white satin spar (gypsum) beads with a silver-gilt filigree snap clasp. The clasp is rectangular, with a filigree plaque covering the front, and five holes down each side to attach the necklace. The beads were originally arranged in graduated rows of 20, 21 and 22 beads respectively, but now have 21 beads in each row. At the end of each row is a small hollow silver-gilt bead with a ring at one side which hooks into the clasp. At the other side is a hole which contains the end of the cord which runs through the beads. The cord is made from a white woven material.
