Seated lion with curly mane and tail across back. Hind-quarters and forepaws on two serpents whose heads meet in the centre of the lion's chest and whose tails, with trefoil terminals, curl round the back legs and over the thighs. Handle in form of arched wyvern down centre of back. Ears and nostrils pierced for filling and pouring.
