Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Four-part silver pendent cross set with diamond flakes. The cross itself consists of four conical mounts, each set with a small diamond chip on the top, with a matching pendant drop forming the lower part. There are small projections, set with diamonds, in the angles of the cross. The cross is attached by a hinge to a stylised bow, of openwork silver set with diamond chips, which is hinged in its turn to the bale. The bale consists of a conical mount, as on the cross, with a decorative curl of gold wire along its upper edge, and a loop on the back. The backs of the cross and bale are gilded. The suspension loop joining the bottom arm of the cross to the body has been replaced, and the bow between the cross and the bale may also not be original.
