Object history
An identical cast was entered for the de Beers British Jewellery Competition, 1961. According to the Registered Description a cast was also shown at the International Exhibition of Modern Jewellery at Goldsmiths' Hall in 1961 although the catalogue lists Merlyn Evans' piece as a necklace (no. 247)
