Baby's sleeveless long petticoat of white cotton, with a rounded drawstring neck; the neck and armholes all finished with lace edging. The skirt is gathered to the high-waisted bodice and finished with rows of vertical tucking and machine-made lace, with a lace flounce at the hem. The garment fastens at the back of the bodice with neck and waist drawstrings.
