Physical description | The vase is shaped like a pilgrim's bottle - a flattened, circular body set on its edge with a slightly flaring rectangular foot and top. The circular sides of the vessel are covered with a green chemical patination but a simple geometrical pattern in silver is set in the centre of each face. The foot, the top and a wide band which runs down the sides of the vessel are all silver plated. |
