Baby's short dress of unlined fine white linen, with a round neck and wrist-length sleeves all edged with hand-crocheted lace; the sleeves also have insertions of Irish crochet, and central panels embroidered with sprays of flowers in white. The bodice is made up of a pintucked and feather-stitched yoke (with a central panel embroidered with sprays
of flowers in white, and flanked by panels of Irish crochet) and a deep waistband overlaid with small panels of Irish crochet forming slots to carry a ribbon. The skirt is attached to the waistband in narrow unpressed pleats, with a vertical panel embroidered with sprays of
