Table clock in gilt brass case, pierced above and engraved round the side with emblematic figures representing the Seven Planets after Etienne Delaune (d.1583).
Circular, with domed top surmounted by the dial, which is engraved with Roman numerals up to XII and Arabic from 13 to 24. The openwork of the dome consists of flowering stems and winged female demi-figures. The figure subjects round the side are arranged in oval compartments with in-fill of floral ornament and figures. Two hinged doors in the side are engraved with cupids playing musical instruments. The winding holes in the bottom are marked M and S 'monter' and sonner'. The movement has been renewed.
