1. locomotive, brass boiler set on steel painted black. It is steam driven which is generated by a 3-wick methylated spirit burner below the driver's plate. Parts of the loco are nickel plated steel. At the front end is a coupling hook and buffers. Either side of cab is the plate with the number and positioned on each side over the drive wheel is a brass plaque with the name. Inside the cab is a pull/push switch. This is a reversing engine and the front wheels are on a bogie.
2. spirit burner, square steel body with a screw at the top, houses the fuel; from one lower edge extends the 3-wick burner which lies under the brass body between the wheel. The square body is held under the driver's cab by two lengths of metal which swivel.
3. tender, steel painted black. At the top is a sheet of metal hammered and painted to represent coal. At one end there is a coupling hook and buffers.
