Object history
This collection of toys was played with by the donor's daughter, Moira, before attending school in 1976. Moira was born on September 19, 1971.
Production
The Pull-a-Tune Bluebird was first manufactured in 1968, several subsequent versions were also produced.

The box originally played a tune called 'The Children's Prayer', the lyrics to which were printed on the reverse side of the bird.
