Physical description
Commode, curved front and sides, with two short and two long drawers, decorated in marquetry of walnut, tulipwood, sycamore and other woods, with a shaped panel containing chequered ornament in the centre. Openwork handles and angle pieces of gilt metal with rococo ornament. Marble top.
French, in 1750s style.
Upper right drawer stamped 'EDWARDS & ROBERTS'.
