Six chairs with four legs of tapering square section the back legs are at a slight angle and are joined to the front legs by high plain stretchers. The seats are drop-in projecting at the front and are secured to the corner blocks of the seat frame by screws. All are stamped 418, and two are stamped 'Russel of Broadway'. The back legs extend upwards tapering at a slight angle to contain the upholstered back which projects slightly at the top, front and back. The chairs are at present covered in coarsely woven red material (not original). Description taken from file.
