Portable battery receiver in a square wooden cabinet covered with a black cloth finish. A large part of the top and front is covered with a black moulded plastic section incorporating at the front a rectangular loudspeaker aperture with two vertical plastic struts over a pale brown fabric covering. On the top, incorporated within the plastic moulding is a large circular plastic tuning scale beneath which is a metal control switch. To the right and left of the scale is a small plastic control knob. A swivel black plastic handle is attached to the plastic moulded section on the top.
