Mains radio receiver. Tall, narrow, brown-speckled Bakelite cabinet with rounded edges, corners and rounded, stepped mouldings. At the top front is a square loudspeaker aperture with curved mouldings at the top and covered with gold metal strip decorative grille. Beneath this is a square glass tuning scale, covering medium, long and short wavebands, with yellow, red and green lettering, and the name of the maker in the centre. At the base of the front area are four plastic control knobs in line.

Object history | Purchased by the Circulation Department in 1976, from Gustav Metzger [76/444]. On entry to the Museum its condition was noted as 'scratched in places'. |
