Mains radio receiver with vertical rectangular bakelite cabinet which has a faux wood grain and rounded edges. There is a recessed fabric covered square speaker aperture in the centre upper half. Upper half divided by four equally spaced incised lines. The lower half contains a white tuning scale, with scales for long, medium and short bands, Ekco symbol, and 'magic eye' tuning. Rectangular plate below scale with scroll upper and lower edges and 5 square 'pre-time' push buttons. Left and right of plate there are 2 knobs with 5 flutes on edge and dished fronts. Fibre back with printed data panel in white. Serial No. 6873
