The following description has been transcribed from the original accession record of 1912. Carved walnut with tapestry seat. The cresting of the back is carved with shell and leafwork. The cabriole legs are carved on the knee and have claw-and ball feet. The tapestry seat has a design of coloured flowers in a basket on a brown background. One of a pair.
