The openwork back is composed of a) a top rail carved with an anemone (?) between voluted scrolls, b) a bottom rail decorated with scrolls, c) two baluster uprights continuous with the back legs and d) a cane panel flanked by uprights carved with scrolls. The slightly curved arms rest on baluster supports continuous with the front legs. Each of the front legs is joined to the back by a turned rail which, in turn, are similarly connected with one another. There are four casters.
