Carved wood armchair, stained and varnished. The back has a rectangular panel of canework above a turned baluster carved with foliage, enclosed by curved uprights and a top rail decorated with gilt flutings. The arms curve down from the uprights and have a straight section, finishing in round fluted blocks. The front legs are continuous with the arm supports and are in the form of terminals with volutes at the top, lion paw feet and gilt honeysuckle enrichments. The seat is caned and the back legs curve outwards.
