Tea caddy, wood with brass mounts in the form of a sarcophagus. The four sides and the lid are decorated with pen and ink drawings in the "Chinese" taste and a black stained ground imitating ebony inlaid with ivory; the inside of the lid and the covers of the two compartments into which the interior is divided are simply ornamented. The cavetto moulding round the lid is filled with a pattern of interlaced rings. Brass handles in the form of lion-masks with rings and brass paw feet.
