This description has been transcribed from the register of 1938: Wooden fire screen covered with composition ornament and gilt. Supported on two pairs of flattened cabriole legs at the sides with scroll feet. These legs are decorated with rococo scrolls at their sides and tops and at their junctures with shell shaped bosses surrounded by rococo scrolls. An upright of rococo scroll form rests on each pair of legs, supporting the frame of the screen which is in the form of a rococo cartouche with lavish scroll-work and on the top a detached scroll resting on a scroll-work cresting flanked by flowers. The back of the frame is plain with outer mouldings. The screen itself is a panel of Berlin woolwork depicting a parrot, flowers and a classical urn. The back is covered with brown silk.
