The ferris wheel is lithographed tinplate and the mechanism is housed in the body with the key bar protruding from the back. It is red with black, blue, yellow, orange and white markings. The underside is gold coloured. It has four arms with chairs and in ech sits a dressed bear figure. To the side is a bell. The whole sits on a platform.
When wound up the ferris wheel turns and at the same time the bell rings.

References: This collection of toys was acquired by the donor while attending Peking University in 1978 and 1979. The majority of the toys were made in China for its own market.
