The body of this toy plane is lithographed tin plate with a friction drive mechanism housed between the two wheels. When pushed, the mechanism is engaged and the plane moves along on the wheels. There is a balancing wheel at the rear of the toy. When the plane is in motion the propellers spin naturally as air passes through them. This toy was made in China for the local market rather than for export.
