Place of origin |
The movement in this toy dog is more complicated than many of the basic clockwork operated toys. The ears are loosely attached to the head and the body. Front legs in the air, the dog stands on a large platform shaped like feet, of gold coloured metal. When wound up, the dog hops along on the platform causing the ears to bob and the tail to wag. This was made in China for the local market rather than for export.
