The body of the bee is lithographed tinplate and the mechanism is housed in the body with the key protruding from the top and ending in the shape of a blue plastic flower. It is orange with green, gold and black markings. The underside is yellow plastic. Two orange plastic wires protrude from the nose and there are the remains of wings on the sides. When wound up the bee vibrates and moves around on four small knobs.
