One of a set of six chairs (W.198 to 203-1910). Carved and turned walnut, upholstered in figured red satin damask. The low rectangular back is covered with red damask. The arms and supports, the leg and four stretchers are formed of turned baluster ornament; the arms terminate in knobs.
