Door and framework of carved oak, originally painted. The mounts are of wrought iron. Composed of nine panels within moulded framework, arranged as follows:
An upright panel in the centre, carved in high relief with a mask, crowned with fruit upon a scrolled cartouche enriched with fruit, flowers, leaves, and berries; on each side two narrow panels each filled in with a grooved oval boss surrounded by flat floral scroll-work; above and below are two square panels (one missing at the bottom), decorated with scrolled leafy bands enriched with volutes. There is an iron latch and two iron hinges, the upper part of which is a late 19th century restoration. On the back of the door is a plain, raised compartment on each of the nine panels, and an iron handle with foliated plate.
