Evening shawl of hand woven silk and rayon. It has an orange/pink rayon warp with rayon weft forming a broken twill ground. The weft is shaded from a deep magenta at each end, gradually through pinks, oranges and yellows, to a central band of pale yellow. A long twisted rayon fringe, magenta and pink at the ends and yellow with orange along the central area, is knotted into three edges. The rayons were dyed with aniline dyestuffs.
