Plain weave linen joined to form a banner which has tape ties at the top and bottom for hanging. Painted letters on the banner are outlined in beige dye, then further emphasised by dots and brushstrokes in black and grey. Spaces between the lettering are filled by fairly freely applied strokes of colour including green, yellow, red, purple, brown, pink and grey. Stuck down at random are irregular pieces of printed and painted cotton.

A note in the 1976 T&F register states:
'Possibly made for the Allied Artists Exhibition' of 1914, held at Holland Park Hall. Here, the Omega Workshops showed a complete lounge.
