Sampler, 'A Persian Flower Garden', linen embroidered with formal rectangular garden divided by crossing paths with a pond in the middle and potted standard trees in each corner. Birds and animals are dotted across the garden and in the pond a larger bird holds a fish in its beak. Seven other fish and a turtle swim in the pond.

Linen embroidered in cross stitch with the paths in single faggot stitch, water in wave stitch filling, arches in chequer stitch, filling and the blue margin in double stitch filling. Wording embroidered across the top and the bottom of the decorative panel.
