Book cover of embroidered canvas formed into a slip jacket for a book. The canvas is concealed by tightly packed lines of chain, stem long and short stitches with details in French knots. The front cover has chain-stitched whorls in bright blue silk and a central ogee with lattice work and two Florets in silks of gold, three greens, black, three pinks and yellow. The back cover has chain-stitched whorls in mid-brown silk with a central fan motif and a single Floret in silks of bright orange, three greens, black and yellow. The spine has vertical lines of stem stitch in shades of purple, turquoise and brown.
