Lapkin of jacquard woven linen. With crimson bands (5.5 cms wide), and a border of cream linen damask with a pool of sprouting weeds, water-lilies and bulrushes over by dragonflies and butterflies with a pair of weeping willow branches over each side of the woodland scene. The selvedges remain unturned and the two remaining edges are hemmed by hand.
