Place of origin

Day dress of flared shift design with one front panel, one back panel and two side panels in a densely woven white double faced wool. The dress has long set-in shirt-like sleeves with cuffs which fasten with single domed white buttons and loops.

The dress front fastens with a set-in zip which gives an edge-to-edge front seam terminating in a V-neck. A bright turquoise stand-up collar with scalloped edge is set into the neck. The seams and hem are unusual in that the double faced wool is turned in to create neat edges.
