Short flared dress made of off-white wool with a hexagonal repeat. The bodice has two front and two back panels. It has a high round neck with a black silk Peter Pan collar and matching false front opening held down by three non-functional cream and black buttons. It has long, set-in shirt sleeves with buttoned cuffs.

The skirt has one front panel and two at the back. They are printed in black with large circles (one at the back and one at the front), made up of concentric rows of abstract, irregular motifs.

The dress, except for the sleeves, is lined in fine cream silk. It fastens in the centre with a zip and is top-stitched in cream cotton.
