Pattern book with machine lace samples. The volume has a leather binding and the pages are of blue sugar paper. Its front end paper has the label Priestly and Swann Ltd. There are fourty pages of samples. Most of the samples have registration numbers attached on paper labels.

The samples include variations of leavers lace, machine embroidered nets, curtain net, plain net, knitting. Hand made lace techniques copied include Bucks, Bedfordshire Maltese, Lacis, Cluny and torchon.
