Evening dress and petticoat of black silk net tambour embroidered with a multicoloured floral spray in beads.

The sleeveless dress has a wide round neck and dips at the back. The bodice is tight and the skirt flares, and with additional gores inserted at the sides of the hem. It is full length. The bead sprays are arranged to border the neck and armholes which are additionally trimmed with pastes and a narrow pleated band of the net. They are scattered over the body of the dress clustering thickly at the waist and becoming sparser towards the hem. The dress fastens on the left side with black press studs.

The petticoat is of black silk, full length with a straight cut bodice dipping at the back to just above the waist. The bodice is trimmed with black net. The shoulder straps are of pink net. It fastens on the left with hooks and eyes and snap fasteners. The skirt is slit at the left side. Label inside the side seam.
