Silk embroidery on linen in satin, Cretan, and darning stitches. The cap is hood-shaped with a fringe of coarse bobbin lace in front. At the back is a symmetrical floral medallion in red, yellow, blue, green, and black silk, with five target-shaped flowers. At the top is a triangular insertion of bobbin lace. Across the front is a panel with rows of small lozenges outlined in white and yellow silk on a red cotton ground.
