Scarf of embroidered muslin. Natural coloured with a selvedge at each side and a three-inch border of embroidery at each end. The design consists of repeats of paired tulips and foliage which are embroidered with coloured silks and gold thread in double darning stitch with some drawn fabric work. The colours of the silks consist mainly of pale shades of salmon, mauve and green.
