Bag made from a cushion cover of ivory silk taffeta embroidered in stem, satin, long and short stitches in coloured silk twist, couched in silver filé, silver and pink foil spangles and applied blue and white silk ribbon. On one side is a butterfly and a garland of field flowers with cartouche of trellis round the edges. On the other side, bunches of field flowers and lengths of ribbon tied in bows. The casing for a drawstring and fringe of silver filé, strip and spangles were added later to convert it to a bag.
