Silk embroidery on linen in cross and tent stitches. The pattern consists of four detached horizontal rows depicting Adam and Eve, a cowherd and other human figures (male and female), houses, fruit trees, plants in pots, a bowl of flowers, sprigs of roses, animals (stag, squirrel, rabbit, donkey), birds, and a butterfly. At the top are the letters of the alphabet and part of a floral border. The colours are chiefly brown, yellow, green, and blue.
