Handkerchief of plate-printed silk. Printed in black on a white ground and has a broad blue border. With two views of Crystal Palace. The exterior is on the top half and a view of the interior is below. Floral border containing vignettes with emblems of the arts, music, and agriculture.
In the top border on the right is the figure of Prince Albert, and on the left is Queen Victoria. In the centre are three allegorical figures seated on a globe.
