Handkerchief of plate-printed silk. Printed in black on a buff silk ground with a red border. In the centre is an interior view of the Crystal Palace. On the left is an exhibition stand on which are displayed ceramics or silver. In the foreground are groups of people. In each lower corner are coats of arms and in the top border are portraits of Prince Albert and Queen Victoria with the Royal Arms between. In the sides are flags. There is a signature in the lower left of the main scene.
