Long shawl of woven wool and silk. With a black silk warp and worsted weft.

The 27-inch border consists of:

A main border made up of 8 left facing cones filled with 3 arabesque leaves and small flowers above crescent-drooping leaves. The cones are in a rectangle, pale green at the left and yellow at the right. The dividing lines contain serrated edged leaves and are crossed by thin trails of shawl flowers. 14 inches deep.

Guardstripes, both horizontal and vertical, on a white ground, containing the same motifs as the large cones.

Inner border, round the whole shawl, on alternate pale green and yellow grounds, a miniature version of the main border, one arabesque leaf in each cone.

Inner cresting, in red, pale pink-purple and yellow, with flowers or leaves.
