Square shawl of silk, wool and cotton twill. The white field is covered with a pattern of diagonal thin blue stems bearing bell-like flowers and leaves in red, cream and two shades of blue. The applied narrow border has a meander of small flowers and flower-cones rising from a vase in each corner, and in the same colours plus pink, blue and green. There is a twisted warp fringe. Silk warp and wool and silk weft woven in twill.
